- All macs' serial ports can go up to 57.6 ( I think those are the right
- numbers... Only the powermacs and above can go up to 230,000baud.
- Since in a real-life setting, 28.8 modems don't really produce
- a net baud speed above 57.6, I should think you'd be fine in that
- respect. Where you might run into trouble is if the processor is
- slow enough where it won't process the info comming off the serial
- port fast enough, and result in a modem hang-up (in some cases
- with some modems....)
